What is ULI?
The Urban Land Institute (ULI) was originally incorporated on December 14, 1936, as an independent, nonprofit, research and education organization under the name of the National Real Estate Foundation for Practical Research and Education. On December 20, 1939, the name was changed to Urban Land Institute and the Articles of Incorporation and the Bylaws were amended accordingly. In 1986, the name was changed to ULI−the Urban Land Institute.
Urban Land Institute is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit research and education organization supported by its members. ULI now has more than 45,000 members worldwide in 81 countries. ULI is the oldest and largest network of cross-disciplinary real estate and land use experts in the world.

What is ULI Triangle?
ULI Triangle is a District Council of the Urban Land Institute with 700+ members. Our District Council offers abundant opportunities to get involved, get educated, and meet other professionals in the real estate industry. We host monthly programs on relevant land use topics, and provide our members opportunities to better their community through outreach and education. ULI Triangle is dedicated to community outreach and leveraging the expertise and dedication of our members in service to our communities and our region as a whole.
What is ULI Carolinas?
ULI Triangle, ULI Charlotte, and ULI South Carolina collaborate to bring one of the largest ULI regional meetings with top speakers and leaders in the industry. The ULI Carolinas Meeting attracts more than 700 attendees annually. It is the only event that brings together EVERY sector of the real estate industry in one place for North and South Carolina.
