Robin Hilliard is Named Executive Director for the ULI Triangle

Robin Hilliard, a longtime real estate professional with expertise in commercial real estate, will join the Urban Land Institute (ULI) staff as the Executive Director of the Triangle District Council on December 10. ULI is a global, multidisciplinary real estate organization whose work is driven by 42,000-plus members dedicated to responsible land use and building thriving, sustainable communities.
Hilliard will lead the overall strategic direction of the Triangle District Council by implementing a focused program of work and connecting the Triangle to other mission-driven activities of ULI. She will also work with other senior ULI staff to focus on industry initiatives including Housing, Infrastructure/Transportation, and Technology in Real Estate. ULI is also focused on the principles of developing leadership, engaging in discussions on public policy, and building healthy communities. Hilliard will also focus on building and maintaining relationships between ULI and private and public-sector leaders and the organizations that serve them.

Ms. Hilliard has over 30 years of real estate experience in asset management, site selection, growth strategies, data analysis and fundraising. She has worked extensively in the Southeast and in each of the top 75 metros in the United States.
Prior to joining Urban Land Institute, Robin was Managing Director at Asana Partners where she was an integral part of a $500 million-dollar fundraising effort for real estate investment. She also assessed markets and potential investment properties. She worked with asset management, leasing and marketing teams to create specific detailed strategies to increase property value.
Before Asana Partners, Hilliard was Vice President for Pure Barre, an L. Catterton portfolio company and one of the nation’s leading fitness brands. While at Pure Barre, Hilliard directed the national studio roll-out with overall responsibility for strategic growth, GIS analysis, site selection, and contract negotiations.
