ULI Americas Chairman Trish Healy Outlines ULI's Focus on Stronger Member Engagement
May 11, 2017
ULI Americas Chairman Trish Healy welcomed attendees during the opening general session of the 2017 Spring Meeting with remarks describing efforts by the Institute’s leadership to strengthen member engagement and impact. Healy outlined three areas of focus: member-facing technology, leadership, and advancing the mission through members’ expertise.
- Among the tech improvements: the Navigator, a tool that matches members’ interests to volunteer opportunities; a new ULI website; and a new member management system.
- In the area of leadership, ULI is offering more leadership roles to Trustees and Foundation Governors through a new Key Leaders program; and the Institute is opening up and improving connections between all the member networks.
- In terms of mission advancement, ULI is improving its program of work to ensure that it reflects member expertise and is applicable to members’ day-to-day operations; and the Institute is exploring how to expand the Advisory Services program.
“Your Americas Executive Committee is driven by this one truth: ULI is its members… We want you involved. More members doing more means more impact,” Healy said.
