Richard Cox joins ULI Triangle staff

Welcome to new ULI Triangle Associate, Richard L. Cox, Jr.  Richard joins ULI Triangle from Charlotte Center City Partners where he was Senior Associate for Planning & Development, managing a number of urban design, planning, and development projects including the Charlotte Rail Trail and the North Tryon Vision & Implementation Plan.  He holds a master’s degree from the Department of City & Regional Planning at U.N.C. Chapel Hill. Richard will be assisting with events, content development, marketing and new initiatives for ULI Triangle.

ULI Triangle talks Emerging Trends in Real Estate

Raleigh/Durham may have dropped from the top ten U.S. investments markets this year, but its fundamentals and market outlook remain strong according to ULI/PwC’s Emerging Trends in Real Estate 2016 report.

According to ULI/PwC’s Emerging Trends in Real Estate 2016 report, Raleigh/Durham’s fundamentals and market outlook remain strong despite dropping from the top ten U.S. investments markets this year. ULI Senior Vice President Dean Schwanke reported at ULI Triangle’s November 18th Trends program that 84% of this year’s Emerging Trends survey respondents rated their profitability outlook as “good” to “excellent,” mirroring 2006 percentages—which prompted some nervous laughter from the audience.
