We hope you will be able to join ULI South Carolina and ULI Cleveland members and friends for this unique opportunity to share lessons learned from Cleveland, Ohio’s bus rapid transit system, the HealthLine.
The HealthLine is Cleveland's Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system, serving the Euclid Corridor and connecting the region’s two largest employment areas, Downtown and University Circle. Since it opened in 2008, the HealthLine has delivered more than $9.5 billion in economic development along the Euclid Corridor -- a staggering $190 gained for every dollar spent on creating and launching the new service.
Our panelists include:
Michael Deemer, Downtown Cleveland Alliance
Annie Pease, Director of Transportation for University Circle, Inc.
Michael Schipper, Deputy General Manager - Engineering & Project Management for the Cleveland RTA
Moderator: Mike Seekings, Charleston SC City Councilmember & CARTA Chair
As the Charleston region continues to plan for the successful implementation of the LCRT, we hope to glean important insights from Cleveland’s success!
