After a near-death experience during the recession, for sale townhomes and condos, along with some exciting new products imported from gateway markets, are finally re-emerging with several  projects planned and under construction.  Moderator Amanda Hoyle, formerly with Triangle Business Journal and now the Regional Director at Metrostudy, will present local market data on new units under construction in Raleigh, Cary and Durham and compare local activity with that of competitive markets.   Panelists will share their war stories of the opportunities and challenges to building infill for-sale product and their view of our market’s health and longevity.

Panelists

  • Henry Lambert (Lambert Development) out of New York City has entered the local market in a big way, with townhome, condo and single-family projects underway in Durham, Raleigh, Cary and Apex.
  • Roland and Jed Gammon (White Oak Properties) are local developers and early movers in the blossoming infill condo and townhome market in addition to multi-family rental housing.
  • Jason Queen is founder of Monarch Property Co. and Raleigh Restoration Group, LLC which focus on new and rehab residential and commercial products in Raleigh’s center city.
