Technical Assistance Panels (TAPs)

The TAP Process is typically an intensive 1.5-day process where a multidisciplinary panel of ULI Triangle members explore market potential, land use and design, financing and development strategies, and organization and implementation to bring clarity and objectivity to land use challenges.

The TAP includes:

  • An expert panel of 8 – 10 ULI Triangle Leaders
  • 1 to 1 1/2 day intensive work session with in-depth analysis
  • Confidential stakeholder interviews
  • Public Presentation
  • Final report 6 – 8 weeks following the conclusion of the panel

ULI Triangle is not currently accepting TAP requests.


ULI’s national Advisory Services Program brings the finest expertise in the real estate field to bear on complex land use planning and development projects. ULI’s interdisciplinary teams of senior professionals provide a comprehensive look at all angles of the development process and formulate realistic options to move projects forward.

On the local level, ULI District Councils to provide similar services on a smaller scale to local governments and community-based non-profit groups through the TAP program.
