• The ULI Global Awards for Excellence define the standard for real estate development practice worldwide. In its 36th year, the program is the centerpiece of ULI’s efforts to identify and promote best practices in all types of real estate development from around the world. • The ULI Urban Open Space Award celebrates and promotes the creation of transformative and thoughtful public open spaces both big and small. In its fifth year, this award is not meant to be a landscape architecture or urban design prize; rather it is intended to honor the impact of the open space—from the look and feel of the space and how intensively it is used to its economic and social impact on adjacent communities.
