ULI Regional Partnership Forum Raleigh Event

The ULI Regional Partnership Forum extends the mission of local ULI partnership forums to a more regional scale to bring together young leaders from Raleigh, Charlotte, and South Carolina. Through events in each location, participants come away with valuable lessons to apply in their home markets and build a regional network of friends and colleagues.
The July 17 ULI Triangle event focused on ‘The Future of Downtown’ and shared how local leaders, developers, and creative individuals are leading the next wave of transformative urban growth.
The event was divided into three sessions – the first was hosted by the Contemporary Art Museum and was titled ‘Unleashing the Creative Class’. Beth Khalifa and Sarah Powers, founders of local creative event SparkCON were on hand, along with Liz Tracy of downtown coworking space ‘HQ Raleigh’ and Derrick Minor, Raleigh’s Director of Innovation. Steve Nicholson, the Senior Director of Real Estate at Citrix, presented on how the company chose Raleigh and what they plan to bring to their downtown space.
Session two focused on city leaders and their role in planning, building, and promoting downtown. Read More…
