About ULI Triangle:ULI Triangle is a District Council of the Urban Land Institute that has grown to approximately 500 members in the last four years throughout the Triangle region. The District Council serves to further ULI's mission by convening leaders, advocating best practices, providing education to the community and creating forums to exchange ideas and develop solutions. Events include quarterly forums on topics ranging from regional and sustainability issues to an economic forecast. In addition, monthly round tables highlight various project-related lessons for our constituents, as well as public outreach issues ranging from workforce housing and downtown revitalization to a better understanding of public art's function. ULI Triangle members are considered leaders within their fields, and represent a variety of disciplines including developers, elected officials, brokers, investors, architects, lawyers, engineers, as well as academia. What is the Triangle? The Triangle District Council derives its name from the Research Triangle Park which is home to many leading technology firms. This portion of North Carolina is also home to world-class universities and medical centers. The region is a 'community of communities’ comprised of large and small cities, each having its own distinct character. The strong economy has brought new investment and national awards in recognition of the region’s high quality of life.

It is also important to note that since the inception of the District Council, our membership has grown to include the Eastern half of North Carolina. We have strong membership presence in areas such as Fayetteville, Wilmington, and the Outer Banks.
